Sales Channels
Record ojol and marketplace orders with their own prices and commission, and connect GoFood, GrabFood, Shopee and TikTok Shop so orders and stock stay in step.
Sales Channels (Sales → Sales Channels) lets one Bakasir account sell through several places and see which one actually earns money. Every plan, including the free one, can use manual channels. Nothing here is a plugin.
Manual channels
A manual channel is a name plus a commission. Use it for orders you key in yourself, such as an ojol order read from the driver tablet.
- Open Sales → Sales Channels → Add channel and choose Manual.
- Set the commission as a percent of the sale, a fixed amount per order, or both. Leave the outlet on All outlets or pick one.
- Open Manage → Channel prices. A product without a channel price uses the store price. Mark up all prices sets every product to its store price plus a percent; tick Only products without a channel price to keep prices you already typed.
- In the POS, pick the channel in the cart (the Sales channel field). The channel price replaces the store price on each line, the commission is recorded on the sale, and automatic promotions and vouchers do not apply to that sale. The same field exists in the Desktop and Android POS. Channel sales need a connection, because the server prices them.
The commission shows up in two places: Profit by channel (revenue minus cost of goods minus commission) and the journal, where it is an expense on account 5600 Sales Channel Commission. A voided or refunded sale reverses its commission.
Connect a marketplace
GoFood, GrabFood, Shopee and TikTok Shop (including Tokopedia shops, which now sit under TikTok Shop) each need partner keys that belong to Bakasir. Bakasir registers as the partner and the Bakasir team enters the keys in Admin. Until then the channel shows Not connected and says so. Recording orders by hand still works.
Once the keys exist:
- Create a channel of the marketplace type and choose its outlet. One connection serves one outlet, and the stock of that outlet in Bakasir is the source of truth.
- Manage → Connection → Connect. Shopee and TikTok Shop open the marketplace authorization page and bring you back. GoFood and GrabFood ask for your outlet or merchant id.
- Manage → Products. Match each Bakasir product with the item id and SKU id shown in the marketplace seller center. Only mapped products are synced.
- Copy the Webhook URL from the Connection tab into the partner console so new orders arrive at once. Bakasir also polls every two minutes, so a missed notification is caught.
What syncs
- Orders in. A new order becomes a sale in progress and reserves stock. When the marketplace marks it completed, the sale is completed and the revenue is recognised. A canceled order gives the stock back and is never journaled. The same marketplace order is never recorded twice.
- Stock out. Whenever stock of a mapped product changes in Bakasir, the new quantity is pushed in the background and retried when the marketplace is unreachable. GrabFood only has available or unavailable, so it receives that.
- Prices out. Channel prices of mapped products are pushed to the marketplace. GoFood changes prices through a full menu sync, so Bakasir does not push prices there.
- Over stock. An order that exceeds the stock is still recorded and the stock goes negative, and the Owner and Managers get a notification.
- Unmapped products. An order with a product that is not mapped is kept and flagged. Map the product, then use Map again on the order.
- Problems. An expired authorization or a refused request creates a notification and an entry in Sync log.
Orders and actions
The Marketplace orders tab lists imported orders. Owners and Managers can accept, reject, mark ready or cancel an order when the marketplace allows it through its API. Shopee and TikTok Shop fulfilment stays in their seller centers; Bakasir only imports those orders and can cancel a Shopee order.
Partner documentation
Bakasir builds each connector from the marketplace's published developer documentation. Some parts are open only to registered partners, so these details are marked as not confirmed until the partner account is approved.
- GoFood: GoBiz developer portal. Token endpoint, order notification payload and signature, and the stock request body are not confirmed.
- GrabFood: Grab developer portal. The token endpoint, order endpoints and menu update path follow Grab's public SDK; the order notification authentication and the accept or reject body are not confirmed.
- Shopee: Shopee Open Platform. Request signing, authorization, order, stock and price paths follow the v2 API.
- TikTok Shop: Partner Center. Authorization, signing, order search and inventory paths follow API version 202309. Cancelling an order through the API is not supported by Bakasir.
